Fiber Fun Day

Fiber Fun Day is a “MAKER SPACE” for fiber enthusiasts. Equipment is available to use to learn the processes involved in turning raw materials into beautiful yarns and finished textiles.
Equipment use is free. Everything must be completed and taken home at the end of the workshop unless otherwise arranged with the event coordinator.
A materials fee of $10 will be charged for introductory supplies that are necessary to use the equipment if you don’t have your own.
You are more than welcome to bring along a project (knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, spinning, etc.) you are working on and fellowship with others too. We love to see creative pursuits in progress!
Bring a lunch. Beverages are provided.
All children must be supervised at all times.
Please wear appropriate clothing for manual work (skin, feet, eye protection). Some of the equipment used is sharp and some the fibers may cause irritation. Prepare accordingly.
Some projects going on at the farm right now are the restoration of two looms, scouring fleeces, carding and combing wool, making batts to spin, spinning yarns, weaving….and so much more! There is something for everyone!
NOTE: Specialized classes will have their own registrations and costs. These classes will be listed separately but may occur on the same day. Please make sure you register for these classes using their specific event listing to participate in them.
As always, anyone who enters the property of Wellspring Farm and Ranch, LLC holds harmless and releases liability towards this entity and any persons/entities affiliated with it.
This is a tobacco/vape/drug/alcohol free property. Please do not use while on the premises.

Sunday afternoons should be spent surrounded by friends and family, ample portions of good food, fun and games, and epic conversations. Bring a dish to share and enjoy what an afternoon at the farm holds.
The Covered Dish Gathering is by invitation only at this time. Please look for an invitation in your inbox or in your texts.

Fiber Fun Day
FIBER FUN DAYS are a monthly meet-up for anyone interested in any of the fiber arts. Demonstrations and hands-on experiences on various fiber processing equipment will be available. Specialty workshops to learn and build skills in various mediums are also being planned. Please sign up for our announcements to receive invitations <LINK>
Fellowship with others who love all the fluff and stuff makes for a particularly fun event. Sharing knowledge through experiences and education, encouraging project pursuits and having a good laugh are all part of building a productive fiber community.
Bring a project you are working and a sack lunch if you plan to stay for a bit, or come by just to say, “hello!” and see what we are up to. Either way, we are glad to see you.
