Fiber Fun Day is a “MAKER SPACE” for fiber enthusiasts. Equipment is available to use to learn the processes involved in turning raw materials into beautiful yarns and finished textiles.

Equipment use is free. Everything must be completed and taken home at the end of the workshop unless otherwise arranged with the event coordinator.

A materials fee of $10 will be charged for introductory supplies that are necessary to use the equipment if you don’t have your own.

You are more than welcome to bring along a project (knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, spinning, etc.) you are working on and fellowship with others too. We love to see creative pursuits in progress!

Bring a lunch. Beverages are provided.

All children must be supervised at all times.

Please wear appropriate clothing for manual work (skin, feet, eye protection). Some of the equipment used is sharp and some the fibers may cause irritation. Prepare accordingly.

Some projects going on at the farm right now are the restoration of two looms, scouring fleeces, carding and combing wool, making batts to spin, spinning yarns, weaving….and so much more! There is something for everyone!

NOTE: Specialized classes will have their own registrations and costs. These classes will be listed separately but may occur on the same day. Please make sure you register for these classes using their specific event listing to participate in them.

This is a tobacco/vape/drug/alcohol free property. Please do not use while on the premises.
